Jacqui,
You did such
a great job on my resume I have told several people about your services.
FYI - I ended
up at Pegasystems as an Engagement Leader. Pega is out of Boston,
but I can still live in KC. I was told my resume was the best they
had seen in along time!
Thanks again,

Jacqui:
My investment
in your service was worth every penny as it allowed me to fast-forward
highlighting what I am capable of contributing.
After 10 months
of conducting my search (and staying with my current employer) using
my newly created resume, I have landed an outstanding position.
The resume that you created for me was designed to highlight the
quality of the accomplishments I have experienced in my business
career and downplay the number of positions I have held.
The smart executive
understands his/her role as a "free agent" – a need to be nimble
and responsive to the needs of progressive companies looking
for high achievers and best performers (versus clutching on
to a lifetime career at a single company, an ideal of the past).
The smart company appreciates the modern executive's strategic and
agile approach to designing a career and value proposition "story"
that matches to corporate needs, one that requires a diversity of
experiences and key contributor and leadership roles that advanced
him up the career ladder and positioned him to solve the needs and
contemporary problems within an ever-shifting global market-place.
That's what
you helped create for me, a story about what I contributed in my
various roles and how I opted to become a "free agent" when
my role did not meet my needs as an individual. In fact, when speaking
with the CEO of my new opportunity his only comment about my work
history was not about how many, but rather "it really looks like
you have held some very important positions, much like we need in
our company."
Jacqui, thank
you again.

Jacqui,
As a quick update,
I left Comcast in June and received 4 job offers within a 6 week
period. I accepted a position with ADT Security as the Area VP /
General Manager for the Mid-Atlantic. My family will be moving to
Northern Virginia the end of March.
I am extremely
happy and know that the work you performed was a major factor in
my success.

Jacqui,
I just wanted
to let you know that I received my letter of acceptance from OUHSC
(University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center) yesterday to begin

Thank you so
much for the professional resume you created for me. I have used
it over and over, and it gets me an interview every time.
Thanks again,

Greetings Jacqui,
I wanted to
touch base and let you know I recently accepted a new position,
Vice President of Marketing at Seapine Software (www.Seapine.com).
I can say that
my resume (thanks to you) always received great comments, and I
know that several of my "cold calls" became "warm calls" because
of the documents (resume / leadership addendum and cover letters)
you crafted.
Thanks for the
help.

Your service
was the wisest investment in my future that I have ever made (including
my Graduate degree).

Thought I would
drop you a note and let you know how the "Chiefs Selection" went
for me.
I was appointed
the Chief of the Kansas City Kansas Police Department the first
week of September. Though there was an extensive assessment process,
I believe the resume you prepared outlining my accomplishments was
instrumental in me making the final cut.
Thanks for your
help and I will be contacting you soon to update my resume to include
my current position. I have taken the liberty to pass along your
information to several Police Commanders who need a professional
resume writer.
Thanks again!

Dear Jacqui:
I am currently in Hong Kong and will continue to be in Asia for
several months. I have been retained by a major brand to correct
some situations in their contracted factories throughout Asia.
They have been trying to convince me to take the Senior Manager
position and switch from consulting.
I believe I am very accurate in saying that it was your re-write
of my resume that marketed me to these people.
Thanks for your help.

Jacqui,
I just wanted
to send you a note of thanks.
I want to let
you know that I have received numerous compliments on the Resume
that you crafted for me, and I have accepted a new position.
I went through
7 phone interviews and met with 7 people on site. Several of the
people commented on how professional the resume looked. As
a result of taking this position, I will be relocating to Seattle.
The position that I am taking is Director of Technical Operations
at a fast-growing company in Redmond Washington. This is the exact
level of position I was targeting!
I also had several
other employers interested after they reviewed my resume. I just
want to say thank you so much for your help!! I know that my resume
was a key factor in generating the interest that led to the interviews.
Thanks again
Jacqui for all your help!

I had the distinct
privilege of working with Career Trend on rewriting my resume. They
gave it the polish and professionalism that it needed while rearranging
critical information that literally leaped off the page.
Bottom line
result: 4 weeks from resume to a new job with higher earnings.
Jacqui and her team are magnificent, and I would strongly recommend
them to anyone who wants to make an impact in their job search!

Jacqui,
The interview
went great. The people were nice, and the travel (40% - 50%) will
be restricted to the Midwest. They offered, and I accepted, the
position this morning. Great base pay plus car allowance, full health
benefits, life insurance, 401K matching, and a potential double-digit
bonus.
I certainly
couldn't have done it without your help.
P.S. They did
ask me a few behavioral questions we went over [during our interview
coaching session].

Hi Jacqui,
I must commend
you on your superior work, creativity and effectiveness. I found
your range of skills and in-depth preparation of executive-level
resumes and other powerful support materials to be off the charts.
Additionally,
your professional credentials and interpersonal qualities are unique
and superbly first-rate. Your ability to package and present me
in an exclusive manner distinctly set me apart in a very competitive
job market.
I landed an
outstanding VP of Sales position in just three months. I can't thank
you enough.

Hi Jacqui!
Best wishes
in 2005 to you! I'm not sure if I ever told you which job I accepted
in August 2002. I'm a 4th grade teacher at a small Catholic school.
It's right off of I-35 and only takes me 20 minutes -- barring any
construction!
Let me thank
you again for the encouragement you gave me during our "pre-writing"
resume interview. You pointed out the "qualities" I didn't
realize I still had after not teaching for ALOT of years!!
Starting in
this small school and having a wonderful, supportive staff has really
helped build up my confidence. I won't lie: the first semester was
tough!! But, I prevailed, and I'm in my 3rd year there. I've received
my Kansas licensure after taking the 8 credit hours I needed to
qualify for the "recency" requirement.
All is well,
and I pray for another good year.
Yours truly,
Karen

Hello ... You

Jacqui,
I wanted to
thank you for all of your hard work and effort you put into my resume.
The quality and style were of pure professionalism, and not to mention
the wording and arrangement were perfect. Once I received the first
draft, I hardly had to make any changes. I forwarded it onto a relative,
and she showed it to some people at the law firm she works at.
Here was what
she said:
"Julie,
our HR Director, said this is awesome. She said that the Technical
Summary is the first thing that you notice, and that is what most
HR people look for at first glance with a resume. I have asked Heather
(Executive Director) also, and she thinks this is one of the best
resumes she has ever seen. She also said that if you want to use
her as a reference, she would be glad to give you a good one."
I
hope everyone has better results (even) than I did! 'Cause if so,
there won't be any need for unemployment! Heck, I wanted to hire
myself after reading it! ... :)
Thanks again!

Hi Jacqui,
I started e-mailing
my resume to colleagues, friends, etc. on Tuesday. Since then two
board members have set up meetings with me to see if I want to come
work for them. A volunteer who works in a senator's office told
me about a job opening. I faxed my resume and the hiring manager
called me right away for an interview - which is today. I really
enjoyed working with you.
My resume looks so good - I could have never accomplished that.
I have told so many people about you! Thanks a million!

Dear Jacqui:
Just a quick
note to let you know how I truly appreciate the professionalism
that you displayed in reconstructing my resume. After 21 years in
the business world, I suddenly found myself without a job and did
not know where to turn.
I made an attempt
to create my own resume but quickly realized it was not effective.
I contacted you for help and within three weeks after completion
of the revised resume, I began getting interviews. I am now currently
employed in the Chicago, IL area and am looking forward to additional
business challenges and rewards.
Once again,
thank you for your help, and good luck in the future.

Jacqui:
Your hard and
energetic work in creating my resume has paid off for me. After
submitting my resume to more than 50 job opportunities, I have recently
finished my second interview with a company called Fieldworks located
in Olathe, Kansas.
Fieldworks sells
equipment to the construction, GIS/Mapping, Industrial, Land Surveying
and Law Enforcement industries. They are wanting to expand into
the international market, and that is why they are heavily considering
my experience in this position.
They told me
that I was one of the Top 3 candidates for the position before they
interviewed me for the first time last week. I believe that this
has a lot to do with the information that was found on my resume.

Jacqui,
I just wanted
to thank you for your wholehearted help in working with me on my
resume(s). The response from my resume was very positive - Hallmark
called me the next day after I sent them a resume, and I turned
down a senior manager position from another company (they said my
resume was always on the 'top of the pile').
Although I have
decided to move overseas and research opportunities there (for which
you created a wonderful resume), I am sure I will be using you in
the future, and I will be recommending you to associates.

I wanted to
thank you for all your hard work in putting together my resume.
It takes a special person to pull together all the wonderful characteristics
that you did for me--you made me sound like somebody I wanted to
be and the good thing about it is that person is me.
I know I thanked
you way back when--when I first received my final copy, but my journey
has been one of new and exciting events. I will tell you of my story
of where I have been and where I am at this time. After turning
down several offers I accepted a position at Mayer Hoffman & McCann/CBIZ
on the Plaza.
At the time
I had submitted several resumes to other companies and after about
two months I heard from Hallmark. Yes, Hallmark is where I am at
this time. I am in the Sales Department as a Retail Support Center
Inside Sales Representative. Hopefully, I will be using your services
to update my current resume.
Once again--thank
you.

Thanks for your
help! I will keep you posted as to my next position, I will also
continue to recommend you to associates in Kansas City.

Hi Jacqui!
Well, this week
has been exciting. I was offered and accepted a job as a Program
Director for Executive Programs at the John F. Kennedy School of
Government at Harvard University. I will start my new duties on
May 15 in Cambridge, MA. My last day here is officially April 28.
I was also offered
a chance to interview for a position in D.C. this
week and was asked if I wanted to work on a Ph.D. at Missouri University!
It's funny how it is usually feast or famine.
Thank you for
all of your help. Let's continue to stay in touch. I have been passing
out your information. You will probably begin receiving calls from
people.
Take care!
